About Me
Hello!
My name is Rus Allen. I am a Pacifica, CA resident.
I am originally from a small town in the Finger Lakes
Region of New York, a small town called Canandaigua.
I spent 15 years in the US Navy in various locations
including, NAS Jacksonville, FL (HS-9), the USS Nimitz (CVN-62), NAS New Orleans, LA (VP-94), and my last tours were here
in the SF Bay Area. At NAS Alameda (HM-19) and NAVAIRES Moffett Field (AIMD). Since getting out of the Navy in 1999 (they
wanted to send me back to sea for 5 years), I joined the California Air National Guard as a Traditional Guardsman (Reservist).
I was assigned to the Fabrications Section of the 129th Rescue Wing. In May 2005 I retired after 23 years of service.
I've always had an interest in Telecommunications
and Computers specifically. My father was in a Data Processing MOS in the Marine Corp back when computers filled whole rooms
and could do less than digital watches can today. These interests eventually lead me to the TCOM program at Skyline College,
San Bruno. There I have earned a Certificate in Telecommunications Technology. In my civilian careers, I have worked as a
Project Manager for a Voice and Data systems Service company and as a Lead Technical Support Engineer for a Workforce Management
Solutions company in Silicon Valley.
Today I am my own boss! As most small business owners will say, this one of the greatest things in the world. I strive to deliver my services to you in a cost effective and efficient manner. I want to be your IT Department.
